Turtle Creek Golf Course`s Hole of the Week
“Electric”
The fifth hole at Turtle Creek is a straight forward par 4 only 419 yards long. This hole makes up for all of the hards ones on the back nine! From the tee box, the green is somewhat visible. Get as much as you can on your drive. There’s not much trouble unless you are way left. If you find yourself in the rough, you still will have under 200 yards into the green. If you want the perfect tee shot, aim for left center of the fairway, it sets you up to have a perfect approach shot angle. There is trouble on the right with mounds lining the rough, either be just barely in the rough or clear the mounds and end up in the fourth fairway (either way your talking about a blind approach shot). Par is a good score on the hole with bunkers surrounding the green. The green undulates, so it’s almost an automatic two putt. Walk to the 6th tee happy with a four or five.
