How to Enter:
The Glen Macnow WIP Suicide Pool (the “Contest”) will begin on September 2, 2009 at 10:00am ET and will end on January 3, 2010 or the date on which only one participant remains, whichever is sooner (the “Contest Period”). The initial entry period for the Contest will begin on September 2, 2009 at 10:00am ET and will end on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 12:00pm ET (the “Initial Entry Period”), provided, however that any participant who selects a team from the Thursday, September 10, 2009 game must have his or her initial entry to WIP (the “Station”) by Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 5:00pm ET.
To enter the Contest, you must do the following during the Initial Entry Period:
· Select one (1) professional football team that you think will win its game that week (a “Pick”). Submit your Pick online on the Contest webpage at www.610wip.com. Follow the links and instructions to enter and submit your first name and last name, complete address, city, state, zip code, telephone number, date of birth, a valid email address and your Pick in the online entry form. Only one internet entry per person and one internet entry per email address is permitted. Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email address submitted at the time of entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the email address by an internet access provider, online service provider or other organization that is responsible by assigning email address or the domain associated with the submitted email address. Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. All entries submitted become the sole property of the Station and will not be acknowledged or returned. Use of any device to automate entry is prohibited. Proof of submission of an entry shall not be deemed proof of receipt by Station. Station’s computer is the official time keeping device for the Contest. The Station is not responsible for entries not received due to difficulty accessing the internet, service outage or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
All Picks submitted during the Initial Entry Period must be received by Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 12:00pm ET, provided, however that any participant whose Pick is a team playing on Thursday, September 10, 2009 must have his or her Pick submitted by Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 5:00pm ET. To be eligible to participate in the Contest, you must submit a Pick during the Initial Entry Period and within the time frame set forth above. Any person who has not submitted a Pick during the Initial Entry Period will not be permitted to participate in the Contest.
Once the Initial Entry Period has ended, all eligible participants, as set forth herein, must submit a new Pick each week during the Contest Period. If an eligible participant skips a week, s/he is no longer eligible to participate in the Contest. You may only select each team once as your Pick during this contest. You may not use the same team twice. Any participant who uses the same team for more than one (1) Pick will be disqualified. Picks must be submitted via the following method, subject to the restrictions set forth herein:

All Picks where the team selected is playing in the Sunday or Monday game must be submitted by Sunday at 12:00pm ET. All Picks where the team selected is playing in a Thursday or Saturday game must be submitted by 11:59 pm ET the day prior to the game. The Station will notify participants when the pool is down to one hundred (100) people through on-air announcements during Glen Macnow’s show, advertisements on www.610wip.com, and an email to the account that participants have given to the Station. The Contest will continue until January 3, 2010 or until only one (1) participant remains, whichever is sooner. The Station will announce when the Contest has ended.
Each person may submit a maximum of one (1) Pick per week. Once you have submitted a Pick, your Pick is final and may not be changed.
Eligibility:
The Contest is open to all Station listeners who are 18 years of age or older and who reside in Pennsylvania, New Jersey or Delaware. Employees of Station, its licensee, the licensee’s parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, Station’s advertising and promotional agencies, its participating sponsors, other radio stations in the Philadelphia metropolitan area, the members of their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling or child) and those living in the same household of each (whether related or not), are ineligible to enter or win. This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Listeners are eligible to win a Station contest only once every sixty days. Only one entry per person per week. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest. Listeners are eligible to win a prize valued at $600.00 or more only once every six months. Entrants are required to provide truthful information and the Station will reject and delete any entry that it discovers to be false or fraudulent. The Station will disqualify any entry from individuals who do not meet the eligibility requirements, and the Station will also delete any entry received from persons under the age of 13 in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act.
If the Station deems the “handle” or user name for any contestant in the pool is inappropriate, the Station reserves the right to eliminate the contestant.
Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive one (1) Suicide Pool Championship Ring from Safian and Rudolph Jewelers. Approximate Retail Value: $1,000.
And
One (1) Grand Prize Winner will receive a one (1) year supply of Tony Luke’s Pronto frozen food products (winner’s choice of Cheesestake, Chicken Cheesestake, Roast Pork). A year supply is quantified by 2 value packs per month for a total of 24 value packs for the year. Approximate Retail Value: $745.20
All prizes or prize certificates may be picked up at the office of the Station at the address below. The winner will forfeit any prize or prize certificate not claimed within forty-five (45) days of winning. In the event that a prize or prize certificate is mailed to the winner, it will be with the prior written consent of the winner and therefore, winner assumes the risk of its loss. The Station is not responsible for the safe arrival of a prize or prize certificate. There is no substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent for prizes, except that the Station may, at its sole discretion, substitute prizes of comparable value or cash. The prizes are expressly limited to the item(s) listed above and do not include taxes, gratuities or any other expenses. Other restrictions may apply.
WINNER SELECTION:
Each week during the Contest Period, eligible participants must submit their Picks as set forth above. If a participant’s Pick wins the game that week, the participant will be eligible to submit a Pick for the following week’s professional football games, subject to the limitations set forth above. If a participant’s Pick loses the game that week, the participant will be eliminated from the Contest and will not be allowed to submit any more Picks. The Station will not notify participants whether they are eligible to submit a Pick for the following week’s game. Participants are solely responsible for keeping track of their standing in the Contest. The Station is not responsible for a participant failing to submit a Pick.
The last participant remaining in the Contest will be named the Grand Prize winner.
In the event multiple participants remain in the Contest going into the final week of the Contest, all remaining eligible participants must submit, in addition to their Pick, their prediction for the winner and the final score of the Philadelphia Eagles last regular season game (the “Game”). If multiple participants still remain in the Contest going into the final week, the participant who selected the winner of the final Philadelphia Eagles Game will be named the Grand Prize winner. In the event more than one participant selected the winner of the Philadelphia Eagles Game, the participant who correctly predicted the final score of the Game will be considered the Grand Prize Winner. If no participant correctly predicted the score of the Game, the participant who predicted the score that is closest to the final score of the Game will be named the Grand Prize winner. In the event that the participants have the same score, the remaining contestants’ names will be placed into a hopper and selected at random to determine the winner of the Contest.
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
Decisions of Station management with respect to the Contest are final. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of each winner. Winners will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the respective winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of any prize valued at $600 or more or for any prizes awarded by the Station (or any other CBS Radio station in Station’s market) in a calendar year with an aggregate value of $600 or more. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize. Such winnings of $600 or more will be reported to the IRS. By participating in the Contest, the winner agrees to have the winner’s name, voice and likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to the Contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. Prior to awarding any prize or prize certificate, the Station, in its sole discretion, may require Contest winner (and any travel companion(s) or guest(s)) to sign a liability release, agreeing to release and hold harmless the Station, its licensee, the licensee’s parent, subsidiary and affiliated entities, their respective officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives and all of their successors and assigns from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize and participation in the Contest. If for any reason this Contest cannot be executed as planned, including, but not limited to, as a result of infection by computer virus, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Station that corrupt or affect the security, administration, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the Contest, or if the Contest is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the Station reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Contest. If the Contest is terminated before the original end date, the Station will select the winners by random drawing from among all eligible non-suspect entries received as of the termination time/date. The Station, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process or the operation of the Station’s website. Failure to comply with the rules of the Contest may result in a contestant’s disqualification and/or forfeiture of any prize or prizes. If the Station makes a good faith determination that an entrant has cheated or committed fraudulent activity in connection with a Contest, the Station reserves the right to disqualify that entrant from entering and/or winning future contests and to prosecute and seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The Station reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest, including, without limitation, the substitution of a prize of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. If due to circumstances beyond the control of the Station, any competition or prize-related event or travel is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, the Station reserves the right, but not the obligation, to cancel or modify the Contest and shall not be required to award a substitute prize. The Station is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the Contest or in the announcement of a prize. Copies of the written Contest rules and a list of winners (when complete) are available during regular business hours at the main studio of SportsRadio 610 WIP, 2 Bala Plaza, Suite 700, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 or by sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to WIP at the same address. Official rules will also be posted on www.610wip.com.
